Terms and Agreement: Hair Extensions

  • • I acknowledge my Skinny Weft installation can be worn in my hair full time and continually for up to 6 months. 6 months is the Maximum amount of weartime per installation, and must be removed or reinstalled at or before 6 months.

    • The time duration may vary from person to person and this estimate is not a guarantee. Fine delicate hair, textured hair, missed 4 week Tune up appointments or poorly maintained hair may have a shorter wear time duration.

    • I acknowledge that although Skinny Weft can be worn safely without harm, in some instances Hair extensions can cause damage to the hair and scalp if not maintained according to our recommendations.

    • I understand that some conditions mentioned but not limited to: stress, dietary deficiencies, medication, pregnancy, medical conditions, alopecia, and other immune disorders may subject me to hair loss, or heavy shedding. I assume all responsibility as I am taking this risk at my own will, releasing Hair Boss and the stylist performing my extensions any and all liability associated with the potential risks of wearing Hair Extensions.

    Our professionals will keep a close eye on monitoring the condition of your scalp while wearing extensions and communicate any concerns or recommendations should we have any!

  • • A Tune Up at 4 weeks is required to remove natural shedding and adjust your extensions so they remain safely and securely intact. The recommended 4 week due date is not based on your hair growth, but on your hair's natural shedding cycles. Extending too long past your 4 week due date may result in difficulties removing the shedding and tightening your extensions. In some cases a reinstallation would be necessary.

    • A promotional Tune Up price is included in your package and is applicable only when booking within the promotional period, which is 4 weeks, with a 2 day grace period.

    • Tune Up’s booked past the recommended 4 week due date, will increase in cost each additional week to account for the additional shedding, time and labor required.

    • Poorly maintained extensions that lead to matted or tangled wefts may cause additional time to perform your Tune up service and may incur additional charges.

    • Come with clean, dry and brushed hair for your Tune up service to ensure the beads are moved onto a clean area of the hair free of oils or residue.

    • "Tune up" services should only be done at Hair Boss Salon OR with a Skinny Weft certified stylist who has been trained through our methods.

    • We require 24 hours notice to cancel a Tune Up appointment. Last minute cancellations will be charged 50% of the cost of the service.

    • I acknowledge that Skinny Weft extensions should be removed by a Certified Skinny Weft technician. Improper Removal may result in damage to your extensions and to your hair. There is no additional charge for Skinny Weft Removal.
    Hair Boss Salon operates as a Beauty Bar where all Skinny Weft stylists are trained in a cohesive manner and receive step by step application procedures for each service we offer.

    • Due to schedule availability, you may be booked in with different stylists who are available to accommodate your needs. If you have a specific request to see a particular stylist, please make this known at the time of booking. Appointments are subject to change and may be moved to other stylists to accommodate the schedule's needs. We will notify you if there are any changes to your appointment.

  • Human Hair Extensions are a "wear and tear" product and are subject to depreciate with wear. Hair extensions require specific nutrients to maintain their everyday health. Please follow all of our recommendations and only use the products we have tried and tested to ensure you get the best results with your hair.

    • I acknowledge Hair Boss offers Quality Control Insurance on my extensions for 6 months of wear, when purchasing the complete Davines hair care regimen and following the Aftercare steps provided.

    • I acknowledge that using products outside of the recommendations of Hair Boss is at my own risk and means I am forfeiting my quality control insurance.

    • Natural characteristics of human hair such as split ends and breakage are inevitable and are excluded under our quality control clause. Additionally, dryness, heat damage, and color damage are factors of miscare and are excluded from the quality control clause.

    • Hair extensions are obtained from individual donors, no one bundle is exactly the same. The texture and consistency may vary. You may look and feel the hair in advance and approve of the hair prior to installation. Once hair is altered or installed, it is final sale.

    • I acknowledge that I have to take the proper precautions when wearing hair extensions and going on tropical vacations. Salt water and chlorine can be drying and damaging to the hair if not cared for correctly. Please inform one of our technicians if you are going on a vacation where you might be subject to these factors. Our team will gladly provide specific steps and product recommendations to help you protect your strands. Sunscreen may permanently stain or discolor light toned hair extensions. Avoid contact with sunscreen on your strands.

  • • I acknowledge that when bringing in my own hair to have installed Hair Boss takes no accountability for the quality, longevity, and performance of the hair purchased outside of Hair Boss. Should the hair need to be removed prior to the full duration of wear time, Hair Boss is not liable to provide any compensation or credit.

  • We believe in client satisfaction. Should you not be completely satisfied with your service, we ask you to please contact us within one week so that we may make adjustments for you.
